RTPS had the pleasure of taking a step back in time to this rural cemetery, established in the 1840's. We marveled at the stones, many dating to the 1800's, and wondered about the people who were resting below the green grass. Were these immigrants, new to the area or established families. Did they die from illness or trauma. Did more than one die from an accident with a mule? This cemetery is not forgotten, as some of the stones were from the present time. We hope you enjoy our photos, and take the time to think about those that are buried here, and if you get the chance, stop and say hi to those that that have gone before.

When some people walk through a cemetery, they may be thinking of the older person who has died. But many of the markers at cemeteries are for
young children. And this cemetery is no exception. Many of the stones we viewed were for toddlers and babies. Some with death dates the same as
the birth dates. Did these children die from disease, illness, or accident? Were the wee babies born without life, or did they die as a result of a birth
complication or a congential problem. This video is dedicated to the little ones who left this world way too soon, and to their families who suffered the
loss.
