The Ol' Brothel
It's the oldest profession known to woman. It helped her feed her children, keep a roof over her head and gave her warmth in the winter. For many women and men, brothels were a way of life, a part of society that was needed but often shunned. Brothels could be found in hotels, bars and for the most part in someone's home much like the one we investigated on April 2nd, 2011. A home that is often missed by the local eye, sitting auspiciously on high ground, it keeps an eye out on our city. It still stands firmly planted after 100 years and in those hundred plus years it has seen much joy and much tragedy. Kristin and Max invited RTPS to investigate the home before they left to live in the St. Louis area because they had experienced many strange and unusual happenings in the two years that they had lived in the home. Some of what they had felt, we felt that night. Some of what they heard, we heard that night. The term paranormal evidence is a two-sided sword, it's hard to prove anything is absolute. However, when you have a succession of activity and some of that is captured on video and audio, then you are more apt to believe that the other side of the sword is as absolute and real as the scar that is left behind from the wound of a sword. Please join us as we lead you on our journey that , for us, confirmed that there is still life , through death, at the Ol' Brothel.

Kristin and Max on front porch
taking base readings with team.
|
During the initial walk through to record our base readings of every room there was a high EMF spike that Les picked up on the front porch. It was not under the ceiling fan , it was on the right hand side of the front porch and isolated in one small area.

Upstairs bedroom
where team felt the bed move
in a rolling motion. |
This clip records a series of events that happened in a short period of time. The bed began to move just as Kristin said it does, in a rolling motion, not shaking. Then Kristin felt a cold spot, the K2 meter went dead, Greg's car alarm went off (because he sat down on his remote) and then the camcorder battery died. Meanwhile downstairs, two investigators at command central were trying to interact with a white light form they kept seeing pass the front porch door.
