Is a quiet farming community in McDonough County. Rich in history and fertile farm land. The village once known as Clarkesville, has been known for their productivity in corn harvests bushel per acre. Our investigation was on one of these said farms. The home, once thought to be a stage stop to the west, is not any different. The original log home was two rooms down and two rooms up. The sturdy little house is as solid as any stone house built in that time era. In the 1930's, two more rooms were added onto the house, not taking away the integrety of the home what so ever. Many families have lived here, many have owned the land, many were only hired farm hands. The current owner has had the land and property for six decades. This family have left their imprint on the location as well of the original pioneers of the 1830's land grant.
As seen in this picture of the front of the house you can see
the two rooms that were added on. We had heard footsteps
from where we thought were coming from up stairs. None
of the digital recorders upstairs caught any of those sounds.
Only the recorders downstairs did. Our theory is that the
foot steps are a residule noise from when the front porch
was originally on the house.
The shuffling is easily heard and mistaken for the team moving around. There were only four in the house at the time and they were all sitting down at the kitchen table.
This area of the home was added on in the 1930's.
The threshold into the kitchen is where the team
picked up a questionable amount lot of evp's. What
was thought to be footsteps from the upstairs was
actually coming from this area.
The whisper is faint, but it continues as Les is talking.
"It's a lie."
The kitchen was one of the original rooms of the home.
It contained the first entrance of the house. How many
souls came in and out of the now hidden door?
The whispering continues to go on, this one again is
under Les's voice as she is talking.
... Emf readings, K-2 hits and strange frequencies from the GHOST BOX
As a rule our team has NOT had any sucess with the GHOST BOX. We were about to give up on it all together until this night. What an active night it was! Though agruable, we are not ready to claim these answers as ghosts, spirits or entities. The conversation went on for 35 minutes. Some answers were caught immediately others after reviewing. Can it be that the whole session was coincedence? Here again we are asking more questions then getting the answers we seek.
From this column down are when the answers start to change. The voice tells us this is weird.
The male voice responds and says "hey" "You're Beautiful "
The same male voice "yep"
" What would you like?"
Even an entity has a sense of humor. When asked what is
your name ? His reply is "GHOST"
"Do it." What do you want us to do? "Take it!"
"for sure" Asked whether not a spirit watches her child. "GUILTY"
Responds to our question and continues to go on to Paranormal Land Something falls behind an investigator. "Dang it."
