Home      Evidence, Or Not

These days it seems as if everyone has "evidence" of the existence of the paranormal. But is it really? Many things, which seem to not be able to be explained, actually do have a simple explaination, once you look at it from all angles. The following are examples which, at first glance seem to be paranormal in nature, but which are really just part of this world.

Are these orbs? This is a common error when taking pictures.
Orbs, which are unexplained energy, usually  illuminate
themselves. What these orbs are in this picture are bugs. They
are usually closer to the camera lens so  they appear as round
balls. You can see the white spot next to the motion detector
on the vault. This bug is further away and is photographed clearly
as a bug. It set our motion detector off by the way.

Matrixing in photographs can give the idea that you have picked
up something paranormal. The mind can project an image that is familiar to the viewer to recognize a face or form that really isn't there. In this picture there are two images that you can matrix.
One is the skeleton face in the bottom middle pane. The second
is the form of a hooded figure in the bottom left hand pane.

One difficulty in taking pictures at night are reflective items.
Whether it's street lights, green street signs or car tailights,
they take on new life inthe photograph.

What you are actually looking at in the window, which is made of old patterned glass, is actually the tablecloth on one of the tables and the reflection of the wallswitch on the wall.

This photograph was taken at night in a cemetery, obviously, with an external flash attached to the camera. When the flash fired, you could see the dust particles in front of the camera dancing around. This is the end result. Particles of dust, not balls of energy.

Again, more flash reflections at the Villa Kathrine. Guest investigator Michael who has portrayed George Metz at different Villa Kathrine functions is doing an evp session.
This is the inner courtyard and it's surrounded by glass windows and doors on the inside of the Villa. What appears to be a strange white line going down Michael is nothing but flash reflection off on the interior glass.

Here is a recent pic of Teri at Graceland Cemetery in Quincy Il. The little white  ball above her head is not an orb but a bug. Most likely the bug was between the  picture takers lens and the subject.  It could be just the flash of the camera bouncing  off the bug too.

What you think you see isn't always what is there. View the video below, shot during an  investigation. Pay attention to the window to the left.

At first glance, it appears to be a shadow moving in front of the window. And it is, sorta. One investigator was outside the building. As he crossed in front of the window on the outside, his shadow is viewed on the inside. The first of this video is actual speed, while the last part of the video highlights the window in a reduced speed. Not everything is as it first appears.
