                                            A Note To Our Readers

It has always been River Town Paranormal Society's mission to help those who have had behavior in their homes to figure out what it is that haunts them.
We have always given our home owners the option of whether or not they would like to have us post any of their evidence from their home  on our website.  This
is never an automatic given that we will post to our website.   We have never profited from any of our investigations or events because this isn't our mission.  We
are so grateful that people, who have never met us before, allow us into their homes to investigate, that it is only right as a team to abide by the home owners wishes.
We believe as a whole that the surge of the paranormal industry has taken many teams or businesses past the acceptable point of how we introduce the world to
what is so exciting for us, the discovery of life beyond. We are so over zealous about our findings and getting those out to the world for education that sometimes the
owners of the homes or businesses needs are overlooked.  RTPS has always tried to put their needs first and so it is, with the removal of two investigations this year.
You may have noticed that our 2011 investigations lists is shorter now and we have no problem doing this.  Nora and Don Creason were very gracious hosts who
allowed us into both of their properties this year.  They have asked us to now keep the homes investigations private due to their priority of restoration of historical
property.  After an investigation, we don't always think about what the home owners of property with paranormal activity have to deal with afterwards. The Creasons
have lost a great deal of privacy due to the reputation being built up about their homes.  Who of us wants someone shining a flashlight in our windows at night to see
if they can capture a glimpse of a ghost.?  We know we wouldn't, so it is with great respect with what our home owners are doing to restore these pieces of history that
we withdraw the investigations, per their wishes.
Also, as a side note, RTPS truly regards rental property as investments for the owners.  We will not investigate any rental property without the permission of the
home owners.   We will try to help those in apartments who are witnessing paranormal activity become comfortable with what is going on by education.  However, we
will not investigate without written permission of the landlords or owners and will not say a property is haunted because of the repercussion this could have on the
owners  renting out the property.   There may be teams out there who will come in to investigate but we feel this is as irresponsible as trespassing on private property.
So, please feel free to contact us if you are witnessing paranormal activity but please understand that if you are living in rental property, written permission must be
  given first by the owners.
Thank you for visiting our site. We do have future investigations that we will post. This is an exciting time for those of us investigating paranormal activity. It seems
that the veil is definitely thinning and what lies on the other side is ready to talk to us.  For River Town Paranormal Society....we are ready to listen.
